How-To: Make Your 2023 Vision Board

I love making monthly vision boards to manifest my dream life. It sounds cheesy but I swear it works. I find the best place to keep them is as your phone or desktop wallpaper, somewhere where you'll see it everyday. It's surprisingly easy, and if you haven't tried it yet, January of the new year is the perfect time.

There are so many ways to go about making your vision board, but I find that Canva makes it so simple and customizable. If you don't have Canva Pro or would prefer to use something more basic, Google Slides will do the trick.

For reference, I've attached my January 2023 desktop wallpaper below. Feel free to download if you like it! But let's make one that feels personal. I like having a calendar and an area for notes on my laptop so it feels organized, but the world is your oyster.

I basically live on Pinterest, so finding pictures is always easy. I pretty much use it as my search engine, and I think it's the easiest way to find aspirational images that will make the perfect collage.

I like to start out by envisioning what it is that I'd like to focus on. For example in my January wallpaper above, I wanted to include something that would regularly inspire me in fashion, travel, interiors, my career, a healthy relationship and prioritizing self care. To be honest, the easiest way to do this is to search 'self care aesthetic' or whatever it is you're looking for in Pinterest. I promise it'll give you tons of options that you can curate a beautiful collage with.

Whether it's 10 images or 100, save them and use a template or freehand it, adjust the background to look cohesive, and add some words in if you have some in mind. I've added some of my favourite Canva templates below so like, have at it.
